Robert grew up in Amarillo working from an early age at his family opened business Arnold’s an Amarillo favorite, featured on Texas Country Reporter and Esquire Magazine. From there his passion for food only grew. He attended Johnson and Wales culinary school, returned to Amarillo and has worked with Mr. Mason ever since. From Zen 721 to BL Bistro he brings his passion and love for food every day.

Brian Mason

Owner/Dishwasher(16years)

Chef / Owner Brian Mason started his culinary adventure at 15 when he began working at Kabuki Japanese Steakhouse. Later fine tuning his skills in Los Angeles and Dallas before returning to Amarillo to open BL Bistro in August of 2000 with Lizzie Mason. Together they have built BL Bistro into an Amarillo favorite.
